Hey...what do you guys use to get the burnout/tire off of the quarter panel area? I used to let it just build up, but now that the car is painted, I wanted to get it off. Ya, I know...I should have used that burnout guard stuff BEFORE going to the track, but I forgot.
Thanks in advance.

They sell Bug and Tar remover type products at Kragen and Grand Auto. Just go there and stand in front of the wall of car finish products and start looking. That stuff works really good just go easy and work it out then polish/wax it.

Baby oil on the areas prior to chunking the tires.
That way when you get home you can use a water hose to sray the rubber off. [ August 27, 2007, 12:40 PM: Message edited by: Fostang ]

I Have also seen people use the blue painters tape. Tape the rear of the panels and just pull it off when you get home
