I've heard that Custom Alignment in Mountain View is real good, but pricey, so I don't know if it's worth going there when I don't have any suspension upgrades. I just put some new rims tires and want to make sure my alignment is correct, so that I do not wear my tires. Is there any other place that you guys can recommend, which would be a bit more reasonable in price, but also provide good quality service??

I'm also looking for a place. Most of these places sound like hit and miss though. Anyone have a no hassle/no worries place. Its kind of sad that you have to ask for specific person to do it, doesn't say much about that shop. Any places where you dont have to ask for someone named Mike in the backroom whos always busy. Just looking for a place you can drop it off and have it done right, I dont feel like interrogating everyone there to see whos the best! [ August 16, 2007, 06:42 PM: Message edited by: CLEEN 50 ]

If you don't go to custom alignment, don't even bother getting one

i would only go to custom alignment if the car was lowered or has various suspension upgrades. it's too pricey to just take any car there if it's basically stock.
i've had great luck with les schwab. good price had they get the job done. the one in tracy has a completely flat ramp which helps lowered cars. check out their website and see if there's one in your area. you will need to make an appointment. it's about$50-60.

Just called Custom Alignment and made an appt.
FYI. They have openings next week. Which is unusual because they're usually booked up the ying yang. [ August 17, 2007, 03:50 PM: Message edited by: CLEEN 50 ]

Thanks for this referral. I had it done today, smooth transaction, exactly what I was looking for.
And thanks to you other guys for pointing out additional places, but this one was 2 minutes from my house
