I just picked up a fox for 2500. You just have to really really look hard these days. And not on craigslist. I am going back to the old days of looking in the bay classified and diablo.

I would say you can pick up a clean stock one for 4k-5k. I think it all depends on what you are looking for... stock and unmodified or one that is built.
The problem isn't find a CLEAN foxbody for CHEAP. It's finding a CLEAN foxbody PERIOD!

I just got myself a VIRGIN LX with 90k original miles (no rebuild, etc) for $4500. Black on black and is totally stock. It even has the factory stereo in it and the stock mufflers! The door panels have never even been taken off!

if I was looking to buy a clean fox I'd have to be willing to spend 5k, otherwise it's a crap shoot, might find something nice for around 3500 though.

Also, this was the ONLY stang I found that actually jived with what carfax said about it. There are so many peeps who claim an "original mileage" only later to say that its a rebuilt motor and actually has like double or triple the mileage they are stating.
