i finally got the motivation to finish up a couple things on my fox. added cobra front brakes and swapped out my h&r super sport springs for stang suspension springs, which are made by h&r but drop lower than the super sport.

here are the before with the h&r super sports as the car sat 1 year ago. i believe my car sat higher than your typical fox with the same springs due to the stiffer urethane isolators.

That's a beautiful car and the stance is much better!

I am very surprised with your ride height with the SS springs. Every SS equipped Mustang I have seen was LOW.

Poly isolators will raise you, but not that much

Look at Gus's black vert... Its slammed with H&R SS's that I recommended him.

My car is still an inch lower that your current stance, lol.

Only thing I would change now is the cheesy snake centercaps.

thanks
yeah i have seen others with the same springs with a nice slammed stance and i just couldnt figure out why mine sat so much higher.
im a lot happier with the stance now.

im removing 18x10.5 saleens(28mm offset) w/ 295 kdw tires off my 94 cobra and may mount the wheels on the 92 just for kicks to see how much clearance ill have with a wider tire. ill probably have some major clearance issues inside with the saleens. im also tempted to try out my new ssr gt3 18x10.5(22mm) offset but unfortunately the 315 tires are way too wide for a fox
with the 275 michelin pilot on the 18x10 bullit, i still have plenty of clearance on the outside.

yeah i know you're always a fan of that killer in the weeds look. to go any lower, id have to go with a similar coil over setup as yours but for now this will have to do.

yes death to cobra replica center caps. looks like the bullit center caps are around $70 on ebay. freakin more expensive than saleen caps.

I have been sent to test only the past 3 smog checks. I think its safe to assume I am going to test only from here on in... Not sure why...

Very nice....One of the best looking Fox's on here!....

I personally think the LX lights look perfect, but did you ever think about the 93 Cobra rear lights?....The wheels look great and especially the front brakes....

I agree with luke. Much much better. It looks great. Remember I got dibs if u ever sell it [Razz]
I was thinking and maybe mine sat lower on the SS springs due to the convertible weighing more than a HB, maybe? [Confused] I too have the same urethane isolators. Whatever works for the stance u want, I say [patriot] Looks great.

have u converted the interior to black yet?

take care
