Four unlicensed or suspended drivers caught driving themselves to court
SANTA ROSA - Four people who went to court Wednesday for driver license violations boldly drove themselves to or from the courthouse and were arrested by officers, the Santa Rosa Police Department reported.
More than 60 people appeared in court on Wednesday for driving on a suspended license or driving without a license, police reported, and all were monitored by officers as they arrived to and left the courthouse during a special traffic enforcement operation.
Santa Rosa police Sgt. Dan Hasemeyer said in a written statement that the purpose of the operation was `to reduce the number of repeat offenders of driver's license violations as they are a detriment to traffic safety in (the) community."
Officers stopped Ronald Bustillos, 26, of Santa Rosa; Dana Garcia, 49, of El Verano; Jose Villanueva, 31, of Santa Rosa; and Agripina Zarate, 37, of Sonoma after leaving the courthouse and arrested them on suspicion of violating driver's license laws, Hasemeyer reported. Their vehicles were impounded for 30 days.
A grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety through the National highway Traffic Safety Administration funded the operation.

really, they need to do that shit every day. most people with a suspended license or no license have no insurance, and will leave the scene of an accident if possible. That goes for white, black, brown, yellow, purple etc....
