Topic: Cobra went Down last night

So last night I was hella hungry and had 2 get some food. So I decide 2 head across town to carolinas and get some carne asada fries. While I'm on my way tho all of a sudden I lose my MPH and tach on my dash. Next thing I know the damn things sputtering and shuts off.
So I call my pops for a jump and its runnin fine. As soon as I remove the cables tho my amperage drops and it dies back out again. So I toasted the alternator. Between my stereo, 2 amps, projection lamps, and electric water pump it was too much. Had so watch em tow my car home on the racks last night. Tuff

Should have swapped batteries and driven it home.... I drove my 88 for like 2 weeks with a bad alt doing that.

At least you werent on the freeway or something! That would have been scary.

Nah man damn that. That had me sad last night. Haha. I knew it was goin out though but I just didn't know when. Worst sight was sein it gettn loaded onto the flat bed. Looked sexy tho.
Had I not went out last night tho it woulda died on me on the freeway this morning. Then I woulda really been screwed. I been lucky enuf so far 2 have my car break down within a 5 mile radius of the house
