Well, as you all know I was having issues with this 95 GT, getting 8 - 10mpg and having little power. This morning I took it to the Ford dealership and had them run a diagnostic on it.
Guess what!
N-O-T-H-I-N-G
Well, not quite nothing, the timing was @ 0* instead of 10*btdc? It was at 14*btdc or so I thought. Anyway, the guy said he fixed the timing and reset the computer. Feels like a whole new car, loads of power (as much as a stock 5.0 w/MSD ignition & mufflers can expect). We'll see on the gas mileage thing.

I haven't checked what the timing is set at in my 95.

yeah, i've had a couple 94-95's that changed the timing on their own

did you pull the spout out when you checked the timing? If not then the timing wouldn't be set correctly.

im thinking the auto computer is makin the bad gas mileage....well see.

Yeah, check the harmonic balancer...My '94 flew off while I was racing one time...My timming was probably incorrect for a while judging how that outer ring flew off.....

mine split the first weekend I squeezed on my 94.
