Anyone on this site have this license? How do you go about applying for one? I dont get my license back for another 6 months and i need to find a way around getting in trouble if i get pulled over..
Anyone know?

I know you cant always get them its person to person. I think DMV will have to allow it. Check with DMV.

Call the main DMV office in SAC and ask if they will let you have a Restricted L...
BTW: the restricted L wont let you get around getting in trouble if you get pulled over, all that L does is "allow" you to drive to and from work, school, or any "programs" that you have to attend. If you are caught driving out side those guide lines they treat it just as not having a L.
Hope it helps.
BTW: I believe the standard for driving with a suspended L is about ~$500.00 ticket and 5 days community service. I maybe wrong about this...

I got a restricted license right now. i get it fully back at the end of this month. it allows me to drive to and from and during work and to the dui program i had to attend to. other than that i'm not "supposed" to be driving. i still do it all the time, and like the program teacher said, if you get pulled over, don't say anything but you are going to or from work.
To get my restricted L I had to go to DMV and show proof of my SR-22 on file, meanwhile serve out my 30 day up front DL suspension. As long as you aren't a commercial vehicle driver you can get a restricted L.

Thanks guys, should i just get a court date and stand infront of a judge instead? I hear DMV are really strict on giving out restricted license. Like if you been pulled over before with a suspended license, that they will not allow it.
I do have proof that i attend school and goto work on a daily basis..
I know i can head to DMV early Tuesday morning or the court house.. What do you guys suggest doing?
