Im having problems with my exhaust being really close my tail pipes. If I go with any bigger tire than 245's I fear that they will rub. I have a 93 cobra so im hoping this will work with my ride.

Im interested in getting a setup like this.

I believe the flowmaster 3" catback is what you're looking for

I'm not sure I understand. Aren't your tail pipes connected to your exhaust? I'm guessing you ment your tail pipes are close to your tires? If so my car did the same thing and tires actually rubbed the tails sometimes. I cut the tails off and bought new ones to be welded on better.

ps. love the tires [patriot]

Yes that is the Super40 3 inch exhaust! I also have this and have 275/40/17 with about 3inches of clearance.

Every fox body that I have owned has had 275-40's on the rear and all have hit the exhaust in one spot on each side. not all the time but it would hit on big bumps and stuff but never hurt anything.

Yes my tail pipes are very close to the tires. There are rub spots on them. Im going to be looking for new tail here soon I think

I think I found the setup here...Does this look correct?

Thats it! Did'nt know they made just the tail pipes. Call summit with that part number, and I'm sure it will be much cheaper.
