It's dramatic.

Think about the rotor/pad contact area per revolution.

Make sure to get a 93 cobra or 94-95 cobra MC with the smaller bore. I am using the larger bore 94V6 MC and my pedal is stiffer than I'd like it to be.

The 93 cobra booster has the stock stud location too.

[Eek!] Wow thats a huge difference. I wish I could of went the sn-95 route, but my choice of wheels didn't permit it. Maybe if I ever sell my wheels I'll go that route again. For now I'll just have to settle for 4 wheel dbs. [Frown]

Gus I still think that if you used a 245/40/18, lowered the car, and dialed in 1.5-2.0* of negative camber, your saleens would have tucked flawlessly with the 94-95 spindles. I am sure of it in fact.

I was looking at your pics again, and your tires were too tall, and it looks like you had way too much positive camber dialed in.

I already have all `94 stuff on my car, I currently have a turbocoupe disc rearend in the car so I had all of the little crap done already, like the mc/booster/prop valve stuff.

I can't wait for the test drive [Big Grin]

Yep, that swap is going to be one of the best things you do. I remember my swap. When you first go out, break them in gently, but then do about 30mph, and just get on the brakes hard. Feel out the system. That way you know how much pedal it takes to make the car react, and slow down quickly. You will be amazed that it takes less pedal throw then you think to slow the car down. This will help when you get back out auto-x'n! [patriot]

Ya Gus, I've actually thought about your situation quite a bit and that's my conclusion. There are far too many people out there getting those 18x9 replicas (24mm offset) to tuck for you to be an isolated case...

Your situation can be attributed to wrong tire, positive camber, too high of a ride height.

Ya, the cobra brakes are great. Cobra brakes on all 4 corners on a fox is like dropping a boat anchor...

I am considering selling my 99-04GT rotors/calipers/pads/anti-moans and go back to the cobra stuff.

I am also considering trading my 94-95 spindles for 96+ spindles.

Oh, and I want a 93-95 cobra MC for a softer pedal...

Do it right, or do it twice... ehhhhh

I have a buddy who works at napa so I got all of my stuff from there, rotors, pads, calipers, hardware, $400, `99 cobra stuff for all 4 wheels [Smile]

I'll probably go brembo blank rotors next time around, but for now I'm sure these will be fine, just going to get some different pads for the track.

who sells the brembo blanks?

My biggest thing with cobra rotors is that the caliper does not contact the total surface of the rotor, and the area that does not come in contact with the pad rusts to hell very quickly

I want some coated rotors, but that's $$$
