I am not too familiar with Mustangs Plus Inc. and the way they do buisness...
But this will have an affect on any, and all small and large shop owners in the market. Many of them are friends of ours... and places we all spend a lot of money through... not to mention sponsor events that put up money in winnings for racers... including me!
Here is a link to a petition to stop sensless lawsuits like this from FORD...

I've delt with Mustang Plus and i haven't had any problems. Even got my floorpans cheaper than they were going for (19.95 instead of 54.95)
The guy above me is right though, if Ford wins this lawsuit next think you know they will be sueing cafords.com for using FORD.

I dont think it will go that far. But all they are asking is use a descriptive tag with the word Mustang in the biz name. Like classics or restomod. And change your print collateral and website for the most part. A little bit of a bitch move on Fords part, but preotecting your brand is very important when you are a major corporation. So I dont see a real cause for alarm, make the changes or go to court and try to win.
I dealt with them alot when I had my 67 coupe. The workers in general are a good lot, but the owners and upper management can be less than savory at times.

Yes ford is trying to protect their name, but they were fine with the use for many many years, now all of a sudden they are going after them. It's stuff like this that makes me question having a ford ![[Roll Eyes]](rolleyes.gif)
