The Camaro carnage was a product of stock wheel studs, slicks, a 2-step limit and a lot of HP. It was trapping 126+mph and mid 11s? but ran on street tires most of the day.

I heard that it was the wrong lug nuts... Like he was using long shank style lug nuts with a rim that takes acorn style lug nuts.

He was claiming that "someone else" put the rims/lugs on his car though...

Could be but he didnt appear to have long studs on there when I was watching him try to put Chris's 28" slicks on. I might have been checking out boobs and not paying attention though.

I think john91coupe has stock studs with 28" slicks and he runs 9s, must be a chevy thing [Wink] [Razz]
