I locked the post because the member's question was answered sufficiently. As you can see the end of the thread turned into random postwhoring which we didn't need any of. There were already too many threads about the search feature being gone, so we didn't need another at the time. I didn't see a need for the post to stay open.

A sticky addressing the problem may help with all the questions. No need to keep starting a new thread over the issue then in turn being locked. Just a thought but what do I know, I'm just here for the fun.
