Had some time to get the ball rolling on my supercharger install. Starting with the hard part. Swapped the stock heads out for the 6.0L heads. The 6.0L heads have a bigger combustion chamber so instead of having the stock 10:1 compression itll now be 9:1. This way I can run more boost and a more agressive tune. Theres one car around here that used these heads and only ran 6-7psi and turned out 567rwhp. Im going to be running about 9psi... hopefully 580rwhp+.
Heres some pics..
Intake off.
Headers and stock heads off.. dirty ass pistons.. cleaned em up good too.
6.0L heads.. slightly used. Got them off of a friends SS Silverado that swapped a turboed 408 LS1 into his truck.
Notched the heads on the inside to make room for the Yella Terra Roller Rockers.
On with the new heads.
Yella Terra Rockers installed and intake back on.
All done.

Thanks guys..
t top freak... basically your buddy would have to get some LQ9 or LQ4 heads, 317 castings. New head gaskets, new head bolts, new intake gaskets.. etc. I would recommend having someone help though.. the hardest part was probably getting the headers back on by myself, trying to get the first bolt started with the gasket was a bitch.
six 5.0.. I probably could have got it done in one actual day but I stopped to clean everything on the exterior, my motor was kinda dirty. Started at about 12 noon on Sat and stopped at midnight with a few runs to the local Napa and Walmart for things like brake clean and I broke my fuel line disconnect tool the first day, had to find one of those locally. Started back on it 1pm Sunday and finished that night before midnight. So yeah.. about 1 whole day.
347_C.I.D. Im putting a Procharger D1SC with 8 rib setup on it.

Sweet shit. If I still had my F-body, it'd already have an LS1 and T56. Oh well.
