i've got tall valve covers and a one inch intake spacer on my 306. how tall of a cowl hood i need 2 half or [Confused] a 3????

well seeing as how you only have a 1 inch spacer over the stock height, id say 2 1/2 will work. But i think the 3 looks better, and gives you more room in the future

now whats a good company that sells a 3" hood not 2 half like in books etc..

i have a 1in spacer and i run a 1.5in ram air (mach 1) fiberglass hood and it fit fine....with room to spare..... [Big Grin]

Iam doing that same thing on friday I have a cobra r hood with a svo scoop so it should fit [burnout] look through a copy of mustangs and fast fords you'll find some cheap hoods.
