we need the space at the tow yard and i dont know when i will have time to work on it so im cutting my losses. if someone knows there way around a boat they could have this thing running and out on the water catching fish a few hour after they buy it.
if you decide to put a 4 stroke motor on the back i was told by a old timer boat guy that the motor that is currently on there sells for $600-$800.

1987 bayliner 18 foot boat seats 7. current on reg trailer has new tires and all the light work. i got the boat with the intention of going out and enjoying some free time but i havent had any in the last 6 months. so this thing has been sitting. the previous owner redid the wood floor and carpet and also had the fiberglass on the bottom of the boat reenforced/ did preventitive matinence. he told me the boat had no motor when he go it so he put on this 1970's chrysler 90hp 2 stroke. there is some water in the gas tank. engine will fire up but not stay running.
what it needs- timing adjustment,fresh gas, and possibly a battery.id change the spark plugs too since your working on it or change the motor and put a 4 stroke on it.

im open to some trades- complete black interior for my 88 hatch. someone to repaint the bed of my tow truck black ,the prep will already be done.(maybe you work at earl scheib and can do it on saturday). thats it for trades
