So I don't know much about these headlights but I ran into a problem last week. My HID headlights on my BMW have been working fine the past few years and recently my passenger headlight trips out. When I turn them on they both start up fine then within a few seconds the passenger one just shuts off and gets hella hot(my dumbass touched it). Does anyone know what could be the problem? Do I just need a new light bulb or is there something else wrong with it? [ 2016-10-03, 08:54 AM: Message edited by: NEIGHT ]

You need a new ballast (looks like a foxbodys computer attached to the lightbulb harness).

Alright I'll order two so I can swap out the other one while I'm at it. Right on Ed.
