Me personally wouldn't buy non ford injectors or brand name injectors off eBay.

Some of them can have a different connector.

You can buy injector connector adapters online.
If you're getting a tune, and the tuner is competent, most injectors will work for you.

Hmm. I guess for 42 lb injectors, the ford Lightning ones are the way to go if I wanna play it safe.

Yes. That's the safe path. Spending a little more on injectors and MAF can save you headaches and retunes down the road. A lot of aftermarket parts today are imported low quality junk that do not belong on American sports cars.

just grabbed some used lightning injectors. Since theyre used should I clean them, or put new o-rings and filters?

They're easy to get to if you find problems but I'd for sure change the o-rings since they're so cheap and will stop leaks because fuel leaks are never good.

Check NAPA for O rings and tip caps. You can get away with out them if the injectors are clean. Replacement end caps are usually different than the original.
