I have a 96 cobra motor I'm putting into my fox and was interested in buying a 03-04 mach1 wiring harness but wasn't sure if it would work or if they're pretty much interchangeable. Any help is appreciated thanks.

96 97 are the same 98 had changes 99-01 are the same and 03-04 are the same you can probably find the difference and make it work theres plenty of cobras being parted out these days should be able to find a 96-97 hit up "foxybody" on here or if your on the FB edition look for castro steve or matt castro they part out a good amount of cobras. they could possibly have one

I figured I could probably make them work if I had to but figured I'd ask.. rather deal with less head ache.. Thanks for the info. Steve (foxbody) usually has what I'm looking for.

the biggest difference and issue will be the 96 style harness is for coil packs up by the timing cover, 4 on each side, and the mach1 harness will be for coil on plug, so you'll need to match that. The valve covers are different to accommodate the coil on plug setup as well.
