I have a 92 LX and have a set of Mac equal length shorty headers that the guy gave me when I bought the car. Do they bolt right on or do I have to remove the starter and go in from underneath? I had an 89 GT some years back and that's how we had to get the passenger side on. Those were Flowtech equal length shorties. Not sure if the brand makes a difference.

I am just getting back into 5.0's so any help is appreciated.

If they are shorty headers it will bolt right on. You might need new header bolts because the stock bolts are too big and won't fit when using aftermarket headers. ARP Bolts are a must. So new header gaskets and bolts and it should be a direct bolt on

It was a little tricky getting it to line up. Once I got a mirror I was able to align each flange and bolt it right up. Thanks for the info.
