I notice a engine nouse while at a stop light

It's a loud consisting screech noise once I accelerate it's gone completely but once car stops its heard again
Sounds like its coming from back or engine near upper intake or erg vaule area help please I can send video if u need it

Post the vid on youtube, but my first guess would be a throwout bearing if you have a manual trans.

So noise is coming from upper manifold only heard when idling and after car warms up

Do you have an aftermarket throttle body? Is it more of a whistling sound?

Vacuum leak ? Are you sure it's not the belt ? Hole in the smog pump hose ? What's your setup

It sounded like a whistling noise. If that's a BBK TB, that's where it's from.

He PM'd me that he has a BBK TB. I told him it's a normal sound.
