I have a 89 Lx 5.0 and the car seems to act funny on hot starts. After driving the car for 15 plus minutes when I go to restart her she hesitates then starts. Kind of tough to describe it. Not sure what it is....

So I ended up replacing the starter with a mini torque starter which I also had wrapped in a starter blanket. The car seems fine now , starts and go everytime without any issues.
