Will this x-pipe for the 96-98 GT models fit my 04 GT? I've heard it will but a buddy of mine said it will not. I can purchase this pipe from someone for a good price. Just don't want to get it and it doesn't fit.
Your advice and word will be greatly appreciated.

Not doubting you or anything but why doesnt it fit? Does it hit thetrans or what? I was under the impression that 96-98 will fit 99-04 but not the other way around.

the xpipe should fit your gt. it just doesnt work the other way around. 99-04 will not fit 96-98 but
96-98 will fit 99-04

Thanks for the feedback! It seems odd that the 96-98 pipes fit the 99-04 but not vice versa. I guess I'll move forward with making the purchase.
