Topic: Short shifter question

I replaced the stock shifter with a steeda tri ax on my 04 gt.
I noticed that it makes more noise is that common?
also i notices it has been making a whistling noise so i replaced the pilot bearing and throw out bearing..still making that noise..
asking for some feedback...

make sure to install the short shifter gasket because the metal to metal vibrations is whats causing all the noise. You could even put a piece of rubber or tire inter tube between the handle and the base. I had the same problem with noises

Buy the cobra bob gasket kit. It's well worth it!!!
