I was just thinking earlier today. I've had intentions of upgrading my brakes to the sn95 cobra brakes for a long time. I already have the larger discs. And SN95 hub/spindle/calipers etc on my fox.

My question is, will the SN95 calipers bolt up to the Cobra Caliper Brackets? If so I was thinking of throwing the bigger discs on there & use the sn95 calipers for now. I wouldn't expect much better braking, but it would free up some room on my shelf since the bigger discs are sitting there.

Thanks,
Brandon

I was told incorrect information about cobra calipers and SN95 brake brackets when I was on hunt for cobra calipers. Like stated by everyone else,

They are not compatible.

@fiji No you can't buy them at autozone. I tried like crazy back when I was looking for my set.

Only cobra brackets work for cobra calipers. And only SN95 brackets work for SN95 calipers

I think they are PBR calipers, which are still better than SN95 calipers, Ive been considering this awhile, especially since I have a friend at the auto parts store.

i think everyone that starts looking in to this mod hopes for that; the brackets as stated are the hardest to find by themselves.

Does anyone make a bracket that would allow one to use the 13" rotors with sn95 calipers? I would think it would sell like hot cakes.

My old roommate was into VW's and they have many "big" brake kits that did exactly this. It came with rotors & caliper relocation brackets to allow for larger rotors with oem calipers.

You can find the cobra calipers pretty cheap at pretty much any auto parts store. Cobras share the same caliper with some vettes and a few other cars. The problem is that they don't come with the brackets anymore. You were able to find them with the brackets a few years ago, probably about 5 years or so. You might wanna call a few parts store and see if they still have some kicking around with the brackets
