What is the difference between the two? Pros and cons on both of them? I just know that the V1 is louder because it has straight cut gears unlike the V2 which has helical gears, which are not as noisy. I'm trying to decide which supercharger to pick out of the two?

I have had both, even a SQ-trim, I didn't notice a difference in noise level, right now I have V-1 S-trim on my 95 Cobra and it seems too quiet, even my Son couldn't believe it had a blower on it, and he has heard many of the years, so who knows

What kit would be best one for 5-6 PSI or 7-19 PSI?

I've had the Paxton 1220 SL for a couple years now. Its a low boost kit plus it's an 8 rib set up. No oil lines but really quiet compared to other cars I've heard. It all depends on what your preference, you like people to know you have a blower or not.

either will be fine, the v2 is the newer model thats supposed to be a bit quieter with a slight quicker ramp for teh boost to kick in, but pretty much will both work yes lol
