It's time for smog...

Will a factory '92 T5 H pipe fit an '89 with an AOD? Something tells me that there's a difference due the width of the AOD so I thought I'd check before I start swapping parts! Thanks for the help.

Yes it will fit, it's the same H-pipe

Not too hard, do it in sequence until it "feels" right and looks even at each flange otherwise you will over torque the nuts and spread the flanges to where you will have leaks for sure and will have to take it to a muffler shop to re-shape them [patriot]

Thanks for the good news. I was concerned that Ford may have played w/ the shape due to the size of the AOD.

Now I can concentrate on having the kids in my class sort out the myriad of other issues we have to deal with! Guess it's good to have a small fleet of ratty Fox's so they may "share" parts!
