Hey guys, bought a '97 Cobra. Has a MMR 900 trans and MMR RBT700 clutch with Strange 31 spline axles and 4.56 gears. I believe it has an aftermarket driveshaft as well. Speedometer is off but around 75MPH there is a vibration. Now my pinion seal is gone and it's leaking gear oil. I was going to take the driveshaft out and get it balanced unless y'all have a better idea! Any suggestions are welcome! Thanks!

Take it to a tire shop and have the tires balanced. My car shook bad at 80 mph+, didn't matter what gear. New rear tires + 4 wheel balance and its gone.

Check simple stuff first. See if the driveshaft is tight, check u joints, and then balance tires, etc

If your tail shaft seal on the trans is leaking your driveshaft is out of balance which is making the hole bigger and your fluid to leak out. New seal and a balance drive shaft with new u joints and your fixed
