JohnB. Doubt you are wrong but I ran that belt and the tensioner pushe the two sections together. Is there a way around this? This was on my 79 5.0

I should have stated that is with stock pulleys. What was your pulley configuration? All stock?

Edit: I'm guessing you swapped your v-rib stock system to the 85-93 serpentine, correct?

Yea it was a serpentine belt configuration didn't realize that wasn't stock so appreciate the new info. But from what I saw the pulleys are all stock sizes on a serp. configuration and they collided
