So im thinking that my computer is no good on my foxbody is there any way to test it? My car will run for a few minutes then shut off. not sure if it could be that or bad mass air sensor.can somebody offer any advice thanks cafords.

that sounds like the signs of a bad TFI or a bad MSD ignition box if you have one.

TFI most likely, it's the sensor on the distributor.

doubtful, was the TFI tested when hot? They fail when hot usually, if it was tested cold it will obviously pass as the car runs fine at first.

the mass air won't make the engine shut off, but if you want to test it just unplug it and run without.

the problem could also be your fuel pump dying.

When it dies, have you checked for spark & fuel pressure?

Update:car is having fuel problem only getting 32psi so thinking my fuel pump is going out tested everything else so thats my theory...

did you check the fuel pressure with the vacuum line off the fpr?
