It's on my '06 Ford Escape. The A/C is only blowing at 55° which is about 30° below ambient temp. My high side reading is 210psi and my low side is ~42psi.

First, what should the high and low sides be? My manual doesn't say squat about it. Second, anyone got a guess why it's not blowing as cold as it used to? When it was new, it would blow so cold you could see your breath.

low side is a bit high the high side seems to be normal with your ambient its a 2006 i reccomend services every five years evacuate the system measure what you get out pull a strong vacum then close your valves and hold it for 5 minutes (-30 inches)on low side guage if it holds thats good then drop in 2-4 ounces of ester oil depending on how much r134a it takes then your correct amount of r134a then check guages [patriot]

So is 30° below ambient correct? I was talking to my buddy and he said it's normal, but I remember the system being closer to 45°-50° below ambient.

The newer Escapes have issues with the blend door motors.
