The lifters have a hole of some sort like the lifter on the right. Does that hole need to point up in the lifter bore or down or does it matter?

I like to install the lifters oil passage facing up. just me tho... oil drips downward back to the pan so I prefer installed up . oil is pump through the side of the lifter bores, so really you can install it either way and not do damage [burnout]
