I JUST RECENTLY BOUGHT AN AUTO 92 5.0 AND WANT TO MAKE SURE I GOT EXACTLY WHAT I NEED TO CONVERT MY AUTO TO 5 SPEED:
T5 TRANSMISSION
FLYWHEEL
CLUTCH
PILOT BEARING
THROW OUT BEARING
PEDAL
5SPEED ECU
CLUTCH CABLE

DOES THE STARTER COME FOR AUTO AND MANUAL OR ARE THEY MADE ONLY FOR AUTO AND ONLY FOR MANUAL

DO I NEED A 5 SPEED HARNESS??

ANYTHING ELSE IM MISSING????

Block plate (plate between motor and bellhousing)
5 speed cross member (or cut welds and reposition auto cross member to fit)
clutch fork
bellhousing (if not on transmission already)
T5 transmission harness w/ reverse jumper harness
front driveshaft yolk for T5 (or replace whole shaft)
interior shifter boots (upper and lower)

i just did my conversion couple of weeks back...

1. 2 shorter bolts for the upper bellhousing

2. i keep the same auto ecu, if you swap to 5speed, supposedly some diagnostics wont work unless you change over another wiring harness

3. i used same auto driveshaft, same thing

4. starter is the same as well
