My fuel pressure hose to the fuel rail is leaking, it's the section that comes off the body hard line and connects to the fuel rail line, I'm thinking I can just take out the old plastic line and change it with some rubber fuel line from a parts house I'm pretty sure it will work fine but just wanted to hear some other opinions

that will work with no problems, but you have to use the type for fuel injection. the FI hose can withstand more pressure before bursting

FYI I had a similar problem and am now replacing the lines with stock ones from a pick and pull, they keep blowing off.....

both ends of the hardlines and connectors are barbed, still make sure to use FI hose clamps on them.
i never had a fuel line pop off.
