I'm trying to figure out what shortblock to put together. Looking for people with GT40 (AND GT40 ONLY) heads on their engines and what type of power you're putting down.

PLEASE DON'T TELL ME TO BUY SOME OTHER BRAND HEAD. I don't have the $$$ for aftermarket heads and I'm going with these GT40's.

FUCK! [Eek!]

There was a good article in MM&FF. They had a car with basic boltons running GT40 irons and it was making around 240rwhp.

I just wanted to show that GT40 iron heads are not that bad of heads and can make some serious power, I only gained 30RWHP after switching to TFS heads with 2lbs of more boost.

i am running them but havent got my car dynoed yet, i have gt40s, 1.7 RR. , comp extreme energy cam, cobra upper lower. bbk shortys, but i will be getting longtubes soon, but my car rips...i felt a bigass difference switching from proffesionally ported stock heads to unported gt40s!. i want to port my gt40s now!!! haha =]

i have a set gettin worked as we speak..trickflow valve spring upgrade kit,3 angle valve job,trickflow stage 1 cam with 1.6rr on a stock 302..im lookin for 280-300 hp..there gettin ported by duncan motors as we speak..

If we are talking the any gt40 heads then the GT has stock block GT40X heads (and the rest of the LRS top end kit) and made 280rwhp running like shit with the SD computer... Taking it to a shop here in S. Carolina Tuesday to go on the dyno now that I have the A9L and MAF.. Will post up the numbers when I do ..
