i installed a new stock clutch cable and it definetly is too high now when i release the cluth pedal, i almost have to release the pedal almost all the way for it to grab and also it feels like its slipping. when i'm in third or forth gear, it revs high like the cluth isn't grabbing. before the clutch cable broke the clutch felt fine and the clutch is pretty new. any idea on how to adjust the clutch cable or if it is adjustable?

If you don't have an adjustable cable or firewall adjuster then there's nothing you can do. The cables you get from the auto part stores are kinda universal so there really long. I suggest getting an adjuster or a adjustable cable.

put your foot behind the clutch pedal & pull it up then pump it a couple times & then try it!

I would recommend the kit from max motorsports. Best clutch pedal feel I have felt in any mustang I have owned. Much better compared to the steeda and bbk setups that I have also used

+1 I have it on both of my 5spd mustangs with stock cables.

but to add above, if it's still the stock setup all the way, do like mentioned and pull the pedal up firmly and then pump it, that activates the stock auto-adjuster.
