Up front u can use 245 40 and in the rear 275 40, I believe that's thw widest without rolling fenders or using spacers

You put 315's on a 17" x 9" rim? When I purchased tires they wouldn't mount 315's because they said it wasn't safe. I didn't argue. I went with 285's. How long have you had those mounted?

245's in the front and 275's in the back. You will need to roll the back fenders and "may" rub in front on a lock to lock turn.

Worked on my '92

275's outback and roll the fenders. I have 245's up front on an 18x9. The rub on the inside of the rim when im turned all the way to lock.

Definitely do not even try to put 315s on a 17x9" wheel. It is not safe..well you can try, but that first corner will have you tire lipping off of the rim and if it doesn't slip off of the wheel first you going to have major drama in trying to keep the back end stable.

Those of you that are running 245's up front on pre-91 cars need a set of rack limiters to correct the issue of rubbing lock to lock. [patriot]

245's in the front and 275's in the back should tuck in nicely and maintain correct tire rotational speed.

If they were nittos perhaps as they seem to run a tad smaller then other tire manufacturers out there. Still there is going to be a lot of flex and that is the last thing needs as far as rear end stability. If anything it might work well with a strictly drag car, but we are stalking only straight line traction with dr's or something.

Was there an issue on 92+ cars? My 92 LX was lowered and had the same problem.
