So im planning on putting my Gt40 intake manifold on, but i wasnt sure what kinda combos i should run. i plan on just doing H/C/I, but was wondering what some of your guy's set ups were with the intake, and what worked good together...also what's a good size TB? should i stick with 65mm? or bump to 70? any input is appreciated, thanks [Whoo Whooooo!]

I'm building a motor now based around a gt40. Basically u need to compile your HCI around the intakes operating range if that's what ur intent on using. GT40's make good low and mid range HP and will give you good average HP numbers. However its not the best high RPM intake and people knock them because they don't give the best peak HP numbers. All depends on what your tryna build. So your gonna wanna pick a set of heads & cam that will make the majority of its power at or before about 5800 rpm which is what the GT40 is good for. If u go get a cam with crazy lift or heads that work better for top end then the HCI combo won't work together. The GT-40 is a great street intake to run though. Good luck with the build
