Hey guys just posting for my friend because he doesnt have a computer...

My friend has 91 mustang GT with...

Cobra upper and lower intake
65 tb
73mm MAF
BBK cold air
comp cam
1.6 rr
full exhaust and dumps

currently the timing is at 13. the car runs fine but the cold air intake makes a loud, sucking sound from the filter..

what's this? and what i should he do?

any input is greatly appreciated [Whoo Whooooo!]

edelbrock/bbk 65mm throttle bodies typically make a horrible sucking/whining sound at part throttle.

I have to agree with 91silverbullet, my cold air intake also makes that sound from doing what it does.... suck air. I beleive the throttle body makes more of a whistling noise.

Guys, it's normal. What you have effectively done is remove the factory air intake silencer. There's a reason why Ford put it there (to eliminate intake air noise).
