Do gas additives into your gas tank help fight the accumulation of deposits in the fuel system?

If so, what brand is recomended?

I've used Seafoam, Chevron and STP. I add it once in awhile when fueling up. Does it help?

Thank you.

Not a big fan of additives. I have never had any bad experience with them. I just beleive in changing the fuel filter fairly often

just stick with shell or chevron and you will not need to ever use a additive.. my parents have owned gas stations since i can ever remember... yea you got it im indian haha... we have been texaco to valero and i can tell you that with cheaper gas we would have to change our pump filters every 4 months or so because the fuel was so dirty.. when we changed to shell and chevron we just change the filters because we are so used to changing them every 4 months. you get what you pay for.
