In my old 1991 GT, I had solid motor mounts and a solid transmission mount. I had heard that this could run the risk or cracking the bellhousing. However, I had hundreds of launches on that car pulling 1.5 sixty foots on the motor and 1.4 sixty foots on the jug without an issue (10 second car).

Over the past few years in my 1988 coupe, I run a motor plate and mid plate and a urethane transmission mount.

I'm going to do some research, because I'm going to a Deadenbear/Reed case, so I do not know if the 'cracking the case' risk is still an issue, so I may go back to the solid transmission mount.

I've got both regular solid motor mounts ($50) and dropped mounts ($60) for sale. Both sets brand new, located in SJ.
