You will need a tune in order to run an 04 Cobra MAF. Factory MAF's are not "calibrated" to ANY injector size either for what it's worth. "Calibrating" a MAF to an injector size is just a band-aid to make a car run without changing the tune.

A 90mm Cobra, 76mm C&L, 80mm Pro-M ect... would all probably give you a few more rwhp due to them flowing better than your stock meter.

What size TB? If it's less than 70MM.....stick with the stock maff.
If you want a larger Maff, Pro-M is back in buisness....pick up a 75 or 80MM unit.

With a lightning/cobra maff you won't even be able to drive your car without a custom programed chip.

I prefer to tune 5.0's with 'calibrated' maffs vs the Ford Lightning/Cobra units.

75mm tb. i'll just stick with the stock one for now unless u think its a good idea to upgrade the maf. i think i remember u telling me that someone had a stock maf and had more stuff and power than i did.

Your maff should be at least the same size (if not larger) than your TB. Buy a Pro-M 80MM unit calibrated to your injectors.
