okay so when my car is on and im driving my radio light turns on and off randomly. any ideas???

sounds like a bad ground somewhere. is it a stock radio?

Are you lights on? Mine head unit light pulses when my lights are on and my dash lights are dimmed. Check ti make sure the dash dimmer is turned all the way up.

does it happen only when you drive and when you go over bumps? it could be anything from a loose ground, loose power wire, defective head unit to even one that is going into shutdown. when it turns off is it a momentary shutdown? describe more of the symptoms. did this just happen out of the blue or immediately after install? may be easier to just pull out the head unit and inspect the wiring to see if anything is loose.
