I am working out a trade that involves some JBA shorties for a fox...I have never seen anyone run these on a fox..Are they any good??? Also Im not exactly sure if they are the 1 5/8"or the 1 1/2"?? Should I pass on them if they are the 1 1/2" because it seems that 1 5/8" is the usual size or am I wrong???

i ran em on my 86 and i had no issues with them. no leak or any of that and a good exhaust tone. as far as the size goes their shorties so your not gonna get extensive gains either way. by the time you do the H/C/I you will probably want long tubes anyway

depends how much you're paying for them, I got a set of bbk 1 5/8" equal length shorties for $90 shipped for much notch.

even with them being equal length (more of a bitch to install) it still only took me 2 hours start to finish, I just went into it knowing I was going to have to take off the steering shaft and unbolt the motor mounts so I could rock the motor...

I had a set on my fox, just sold them to my buddy, I loved em, I had full mac exhaust on my car when i purchased it, the entire system needed replacing, so I threw in the jba's, way nicer than any other shorty i've ever seen.

Yeah JBAs are alot better quality if you hadnt noticed thyre twice the price almost of ne other shortys for fox, i had the unequals 1 5/8 on my car before and loved them. They look nice and fit well, but theres nothing like a set of longtubes to fill that bay! [Whoo Whooooo!] -
