when im breaking at any speed fast or slow the break light comes on in my 00 GT as if im pulling the E-Brake........this recently started happening and i dont know what the cause is other then maybe its time for some new break pads??? [Confused]

use to happen to me but it went away. iono......at least ur abs light dont turn on when u turn on ur headlights. [Confused] i installed a hid kit and it does that sometimes when i turn on the lights. wierd......

Brake pads are wearing causing piston to come out alittle farther thus using more brake fluid.
Check your master cylinder brake fluid as that light is the low fluid sensor, also check pad thickness front/rear and fill accordingly.

YOU WERE CORRECT,MY PADS WERE LOW IN THE REAR,I NEEDED NEW CALIPERS BECAUSE THE FLUIDS WERE LEAKING WHEN I TRIED TO BRAKE CAUSING THE LIGHT TO COME ON....I NEVER KNEW THAT MENT FLUIDS WERE LOW..........GUESS YOU LEARN SOMETHING NEW EVERYDAY! THANKS! PROBLEM SOLVED $450 BUCKS AND I CAN DRIVE SAFELY AGAIN. [burnout]
