Author Topic: clutch safety switch Stangs R Us ¯ Member # 4495 posted                              I have an 89 and when its plugged in and I let the clutch out it tried to die , when I unplug its while its running the clutch is fine but when I turn it off and try to start it , it won't start unless the plug is in , so I'm trying to bypass it but can't figure it out any help? Posts: 3100 | From: sacramento | Registered: Aug 2005  |  : BOTIH8R ¯ Member # 7295 posted                                 if you want to bypass it you can either splice the wires or just jump it with a test lead or paper clip. dont leave it in gear or always make sure your foot is on the clutch when you start it.
