I have a 331 stroker kit for a 1990 block. This combo will run a built AOD. Someone told me that the wrong flywheel will destroy the pump. Are different flywheels used and if so which one should I order?

the flex plate has nothing to do with your pump. what you need to know is how the rotating assembly is balanced internally or externally. your options should be 28oz or 50oz for external or zero for internal. i think you need a 157 tooth flex plate. summit should sell all options
