It's time for new tires on my 91 vert (there uh doesn't seem to be any tread left on the rears) and i'm wondering about optimal tire size. the car has pony wheels on it and i'm debating between 225/50-16 or 245/45-16.
any opinions?

Go with 225/50's. No reason for the bulge/waste with 245's.

I personally would get the 245's at least in the rear..225's just look way too small in the rear of a fox and don't fill the fenders at all..

On my old ponies I actually ran a 255/50/16 yokohama A032r in the rear and it fit fine..
