I believe my clutch cable broke on my 1990 lx coupe. I looked under the car and there is a plastic piece that locks in between a piece of metal that looks like it broke. Does anyone know where i can get a new one that is made tougher and more reliable than this sh*t that only lasted about 2 years?

Ford OEM clutch cable is the only way to go. I actually have a new adjustable Ford cable that I may be willing to sell.

PM me if interested.

The "stock" cables are self adjusting (meaning they don't have the little jam nut at the end).
