I got some 18x9.5 rims and I was wondering does any one know what the widest tire I can fit on it. I also would like to lower my car, I have a 04 gt and I was wondering if any one has some suggestions on how low I should take it.

295's would look good on a 9.5" rim. If you do lower your car, go with H&R, ride quality is good, not to bumpy but still stiff.

If you want to run the same size all around i would go with 275/35 or 295/35 for the rear if you want the staggerd look any way you go 275 is the largest that will fit up front with out problems....

If its for a x9 rim, a 275 will run pretty flush with the rim. You can stretch bigger but the larger sizes are pretty uncommon..
